Oliver appreciates the changing nature of the bar and its new role within the legal landscape. Oliver lives in Bristol and is therefore ideally situated to offer his services in a wide geographical area. Oliver has been instructed on a multi track commercial contract trial arising out of a multi million pound property development. More recently, he has been involved as a junior in a professional negligence case which deals with the complexity of quantifying loss after the receipt of negligent immigration advice.

Oliver has a busy practice in employment and regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal and the EAT.

Oliver appears in the First Tier and Upper Tribunal consistently in all manner of immigration cases from asylum, deportation, immigration, Article 8 and EEA cases.

Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence

Oliver has swiftly developed a substantial practice in personal injury and chancery/commercial. He regularly conducts trials in both the Fast Track and Multi Track. He undertakes pre-issue advisory work; drafting, interlocutory applications, costs assessments and appeals.

Regulatory, Inquiries & Inquests

Oliver has regularly appeared in a number of high profile inquests when he has represented the interests of those have been under scrutiny. He also conducts a great deal of hearings on behalf of nurses. This has included charges of sexual misconduct, dishonesty as well as failure in care. He has recently appeared in the High Court in a strike off case on behalf of a registrant.
