I practise from Devon, but have a national client-base which includes individuals, professionals and small to medium sized businesses. My practice is wide-ranging, encompassing (among other things) family law, criminal law, personal injury, contract and land/property disputes . Before becoming a barrister I worked in Brussels and Luxembourg and I have recently spent time three months working in a law firm in New Zealand. I am a personable and approachable advocate. I pride myself on going the extra mile to secure the right outcome for my clients and offering sound, pragmatic legal advice.

Profile description

Civil:

I advise and act for claimants and defendants in general civil litigation including negligence actions, contract disputes, land/property disputes and consumer credit disputes. I have experience conducting small claim and fast track trials, interim applications and case management conferences and will guide clients through the process of bringing or defending a claim right the way through from the pre-action stage to advising on settlement or representation at trial.

Family:

I represent clients in all areas of family law, including disputes over residence and contact and in divorce proceedings. I can provide advice and representation at any and all stages of proceedings and advise in relation to negotiating an agreement or settlement.
