Profile description
In my career I have represented all types of organisations from large NHS Trusts and Police Forces to company directors and senior employees.
I advise right across the spectrum of employment work from TUPE and Equal Pay to Victimisation and Unfair Dismissal. Over the course of my career I have acted in a number of high profile and long running pieces of whistleblowing litigation.
I am experienced in Contract, Company and Partnership Law, and law relating to the Sale of Goods.
My advice is regularly sought in relation to the breakdown of partnerships and LLPs, where my combination of discrimination law and commercial experience provides a single point of specialism for clients. I also have a keen interest in shareholder disputes.
In regulatory work, I assist clients in appeals to the magistrates court - for example when they are challenging noise abatement noitces, or licensing committee decisions. I also represent operators before the Transport Commissioner, and often visit clients on-site as part of my preparation for the hearing. This type of work is particulary suited to instructing a barrister direct
