Profile description

Prior to being a barrister, my legal career started in 1992 as a legal executive undertaking work in a variety of civil disputes. In 2004 I qualified as a solicitor working for a Hull firm and have specialised in family law since 2000. I transferred to the bar in 2011 after being offered tenancy at St Mary's Chambers in Nottingham. During my time as a solicitor I assisted clients with a wide variety of issues both in terms of advice and representation at court.

I bring a friendly yet efficient approach to help my clients during a difficult and stressful time in their lives. As a former solicitor I have the advantage of being used to advising clients direct from the outset and therefore can offer my clients a cost effective solution to resolving their issues.
