Direct Access Commercial Law
Michael began practice in 1993 after working in the City in investment banking and financial services. The skills and experience gained undertaking this work are of value in commercial, non-contentious drafting and tax related disputes.
He also undertakes land and property litigation and has acted for individuals and corporation in common law, commercial and chancery matters.
Specialist Practice Areas:
Commercial; all forms of consumer and commercial contract disputes including the drafting of shareholder agreements, sale agreements and IP Licences.
Chancery; all aspects of landlord and tenant, commercial, residential and agricultural. Property work including easements, boundary disputes, restrictive covenants and property related torts and equitable rights and interests. Partnership disputes, trusts, the administration of estates and intestacy.
Insolvency; individual and corporate insolvency, including contesting winding up petitions, administration petitions and other insolvency applications.
Professional Negligence; actions against surveyors, accountants, solicitors, architects and other professionals in Chancery Division.
Tort; Personal injury.
