Having established a successful career in both private practice at the Bar and in-house, Ragi has accumulated a broad range background of legal expertise in the areas of civil, commercial & general common law. Ragi's primary area of practice is general civil litigation, including but not limited to the following areas:

Chancery
- Advising trustees as to their powers under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and The Trustees Act 2000
- Disputes as to the appropriate division of beneficial ownership relating to both constructive and resulting trusts
- Advising beneficiaries as to the statutory powers of appointment and retirement of trustees and the power of the court to remove a trustee
Motoring offences
Ragi has extensive experience of representing clients faced with motoring charges in the magistrates' court. Ragi can accept instructions to represent clients in relation to the following charges:
- Speeding (including 'totting up')
- Driving under the influence (alcohol and drugs)
- Driving without insurance
- Driving without due care
- Dangerous driving
Ragi has experience of succesfully running 'exceptional hardship' arguments in cases where driving bans would otherwise impact significantly on his clients' ability to maintain their employment, livelihoods and/or parental responsibilities.
Personal Injury
- Drafting pleadings, advising on liability and quantum of damages
- Tortious cases involving accidents at work, occupier’s liability and infant settlements
- Representation of Claimants and Defendants in a wide range of road traffic accident claims (small claims, fast and multi-track cases)
- Dealing with complicated fast track trials, involving extension of the Limitation Act
Professional Regulation
In addition to his busy civil practice, Ragi is working hard to develop a practice in the field of professional regulatory and disciplinary law. He is happy to advise and represent clients before a wide range of regulatory bodies, primarily in the healthcare sector (e.g. the NMC, GMC, GDC, GOC and the HCPC).
Background
Ragi has an entrepreneurial instinct, which was put to the test when he managed his own legal business as a platform for solicitors to acquire national court attendance. His experiences overseas were inspired by his legal training position while he was working the United Arab Emirates for two years. Ragi is a successful lawyer with a tenacious attitude. He is a confident Advocate and provides reliably accurate written advices for those instructing. Ragi prides himself on winning cases at court and achieving the best possible outcome for his clients, be it contentious work or otherwise.
